About Joy
I am a rising junior at Cornell University, studying Biological Sciences and Cognitive Science, with a minor in Business for the Life Sciences. I have worked with students in the past as a teacher at Kumon, past tutoring jobs, and as a teacher at summer camps for elementary to high school aged students. I've previously scored a 1570 on the SAT and have been admitted to several T20 schools. I'd love the opportunity to help your students reach their full potential!

I believe that everyone has the potential to succeed in academics as long as they find the method of study that works best for them! My teaching method consists of working with each student to find what works best with them. A typical lesson will consist of a diagnostic to gauge retention levels, review, introduction of new topics, and a final review before assigning something to work on before the next session! I love to stay communicative with guardians to track progress, and never afraid to stay honest.
