About Sara
I am a passionate violin tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, working with high school students, college learners, and adults, and I have successfully taught around 300 students from different backgrounds and skill levels.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and steady progress, as I believe every student can learn violin with the right guidance and support. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone quality, which are essential for long-term improvement.
I explain each concept in a simple and clear way so students can understand and apply it in their practice. I also include exercises, scales, and songs that make lessons engaging and enjoyable. One of my key achievements is helping students grow into confident performers.
My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated and enjoy their musical journey.

I teach violin using a student-centered approach that combines communication, adaptability, and hands-on learning. Each student has a unique learning style, so I tailor my lessons to match visual, auditory, or kinesthetic preferences.
My instruction covers posture, bowing, finger placement, intonation, and tone quality, while also introducing expressive elements and musical interpretation. Real-life examples such as learning songs they enjoy, performing in small recitals, and connecting music to real-world situations make lessons meaningful and engaging.
I also integrate music theory, rhythm training, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to help students become well-rounded musicians. My aim is to foster a positive learning environment that builds confidence, technical skill, and a deep appreciation for the art of violin.
