About Hattie
I am an experienced violin instructor with 5 years of tutoring experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. Music has always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy sharing that passion with others through teaching.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a friendly and encouraging environment where students can learn with confidence. I believe that consistent practice, patience, and positive guidance are the foundations of successful learning.
Throughout my career, I have helped numerous students develop strong technical skills and gain confidence in their performances. One of my greatest achievements has been helping students grow into independent musicians who continue to enjoy music beyond the classroom.
I am committed to making every lesson engaging, productive, and enjoyable while supporting students in achieving their musical goals.

I follow a student-centered teaching style that emphasizes compassion, understanding, and encouragement. I believe that every student deserves individual attention and a learning experience that suits their strengths and aspirations.
In violin classes, I focus on developing strong technical skills, including posture, rhythm, tone quality, and note reading. I break difficult topics into manageable steps and provide practical exercises that support gradual improvement.
I encourage students to ask questions freely and provide continuous support throughout their learning journey. Through patience and positive feedback, I help students remain motivated and confident.
Apart from violin, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm development. These subjects strengthen students' overall musicianship and performance skills.
My aim is to help students achieve their goals while enjoying the beauty of music.
