About Ro

Writing is in my blood. As a student, my writing skills were once so advanced that a teacher kept me after class, convinced I had plagiarized a short story I wrote. Once I proved it was my own work, she became one of my strongest supporters, encouraging me to never stop writing. Though my parents guided me toward a different primary career, I never abandoned storytelling. I continue to write speculative fiction and poetry for myself, my children, and for the right publishing opportunity down the road.

My academic background spans literature, creative writing, storytelling, and human sciences (history, culture, art, psychology, and sociology). A broad background that allows me to help you ground your world-building and character psychology in genuine depth.

Having beta-read dozens of manuscripts and mentored countless creative projects, my feedback style is honest, deeply constructive, and always compassionate. Many of the writers I've helped were already working with other coaches, but came to me for the hands-on narrative engagement they were missing.

If you want an empathetic, highly creative partner who will fight for your story and treat your text with the depth it deserves, I’m looking forward to reading your work.

About the lesson

Writing a novel or a short story is a lonely journey, and standard feedback often fails writers. Most beta readers stop at "I didn't like the main character," and many writing coaches stay at a bird's-eye level, handing out resilient, but generic frameworks without ever getting into the weeds of your actual draft.

I am the creative partner you call when your beta readers run out of useful feedback, or when your current coach refuses to engage deeper with your text.

My focus is helping you write something meaningful. We don't just fix plots; we probe your intent, uncover character motivations, and build worlds that feel alive.

Deep Narrative Feedback: Page-by-page notes, probing your underlying artistic intent, testing structural options, and pointing out what works, what stagnates, and why.

Busting Writer's Block: Unstucking plots, diagnosing why a scene feels flat, working through mid-book slumps, and discovering fresh narrative angles.

World-Building & Research Support: Drawing on history, sociology, psychology, culture, and art to craft immersive, authentic settings and believable character dynamics.

Theme & Story Structure: Sharpening pacing, emotional resonance, and thematic depth across speculative fiction, literary fiction, or genre stories.

Not Technical Line-Editing: I do not correct typos, punctuation, or grammar mechanics. My domain is creativity, structure, and story craft.
