As a CSULB History graduate with six years of experience working with K–12 students, I take pride in creating personalized lessons that meet each student’s unique learning needs. My teaching approach is centered on individualized instruction, with lessons carefully tailored to a student’s current skill level, goals, and learning style. Having worked extensively with English Language Learners, I focus on building confidence through clear explanations, visual supports, and consistent feedback.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing prior material to assess understanding, followed by targeted practice and interactive discussions. I also integrate study strategies and critical thinking exercises to strengthen long-term comprehension.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students, foster a positive learning environment, and adapt my methods to help each learner succeed academically and personally. My lessons are best suited for high school students, including English Language Learners, who need support in history, writing, reading comprehension, or overall academic development.
