About Zoe

I am a dedicated agricultural education advocate with seven years of experience as an active FFA officer in Florida, serving in multiple leadership roles at the chapter, federation, sub-district, and district levels. Throughout my involvement, I have successfully shown multiple steers and cattle, gaining extensive hands-on experience in livestock management and exhibition. In addition, I have personally competed in a variety of Leadership Development Events (LDEs) and Career Development Events (CDEs), which have strengthened my skills in communication, leadership, and agricultural science. My passion for FFA and animal agriculture continues to inspire my commitment to helping students succeed in these areas.

About the lesson

This tutoring program provides specialized instruction for middle and high school students interested in agricultural education, FFA competitions, and livestock exhibition. Lessons are designed to enhance students’ academic understanding, practical skills, and leadership abilities within the field of animal science. FFA Competition Preparation:
Students receive individualized coaching for a variety of Career Development Events (CDEs) and Leadership Development Events (LDEs). Instruction focuses on public speaking, parliamentary procedure, record book organization, and contest-specific knowledge. Practice provided to help students prepare for chapter, district, state, and national competitions. Cattle and Swine Showing: This component emphasizes the principles of livestock management and exhibition. Students learn about animal selection, feeding and nutrition, daily care, and show preparation. Instruction also includes proper showmanship techniques, understanding breed standards, and evaluating livestock using industry-accepted judging criteria. Lessons aim to build confidence and professionalism both in and out of the show ring. Animal Science Studies:
Academic tutoring is available in lessons connect classroom learning to real-world applications in agriculture and livestock production. Support is also available for agriculture-based science projects, classroom assignments, and FFA-related research. Student Eligibility:
This program is designed for middle and high school students currently enrolled in agricultural education courses or participating in FFA or 4-H programs. Students at all experience levels—whether new to livestock showing or pursuing advanced competitive goals—are welcome.
Program Goals:
The primary objective of this tutoring program is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of animal science and agricultural leadership. Through personalized instruction and practical experience, students develop both the technical and interpersonal skills necessary for success in FFA, livestock showing, and future agricultural studies.
