About Julien

Hi! My name is Julien. I come from a diverse background, and can speak up to five languages (Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, English, French, and Japanese), however, only 3 of those are my native tongues. French was one of the first languages I could speak fluently with natives, and I share a deep passion with the culture and heritage which French speakers live in, and as such, I would like to share this skill with you! My experiences are, having been taught French for 6 years, by a native French speaker, I have developed a great understanding around how English is shaped by French too, both culturally and historically, along with mastering French grammar and pronunciation

About the lesson

I have previously been involved with leadership positions during my college years, and have had experience with peer support. My lessons can be tailored to suit your current goals or needs in French, whether it is to master pronunciation, vocabulary or speaking, I can personalize our lessons to that standard! In my lessons, I will guide you through the strategies I had learned during my college years, learned from native French speakers, to break down words to understand their content, use real-world examples of vocab, and to introduce new concepts!
