About Ashley
I have been working with struggling math students for a year now with age ranges from 7th-12th grade. I work very hard to make sure students are not only understanding the concepts being taught and tested in class, but that they overcome some of the anxiety that math class can bring. All my students have seen progress by their first exam and overall improvement in their semester grades.

I am able to work with students of all ages from Algebra all the way up to advanced Calculus. While it is easiest to have an idea of what the student will be working on ahead of time, I can help determine where to start as I know math can be overwhelming at times. As I get to know your student better and what learning techniques work for them, I can adapt my teaching methods to best fit their needs. This could mean finding videos or other resources to help them outside of our sessions, extra problems to work out together to reach proficiency through repetition, or simply slowing down what the teacher said in class or rewording the instructions to give your student a more personalized learning experience.
