About Jenae
I’ve been taking lessons myself since I was about 9. (Over a decade now!) I have played piano since I was 7. I student taught 5th and 6th grade band in high school and started college in music education before the pandemic! (I was also a percussionist!) I love learning about students and their learning styles and adapting my teaching to whatever helps them to grow best. I hope to instill a passion and drive in my students that I had as well!

I love to be interactive. We’ll play games or physically tap rhythms and melodies to help get a better understanding of music. I love reward-based systems as it often motivates my students to practice as well. I’m also flexible to cater to different learning styles!
