I am a 5th year Medical student at the University of Manchester and I've always loved helping people. I enjoy tutoring because I enjoy helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals which is something I've struggle with at times being a student myself :)

My lessons are one hour long, tailored to the individual needs of each student.
For lower-achieving students, I focus on building their self-confidence, which I believe is the foundation of academic success. I start with the basics, gradually reinforcing their belief in themselves as they progress through more advanced material.
For high-achieving students, I continually challenge them by introducing increasingly difficult problems each lesson. I prioritize addressing any weaknesses first, followed by strengthening their existing skills.
Regardless of a student's level, I assign weekly homework and review it at the start of each session. If a student needs help with a specific topic—especially something critical for their upcoming school lessons—I make that a priority. My teaching approach ensures that students fully understand each concept before moving on, so they are reviewing, not learning, when exam time comes.
I have previously guided two students through their entire Maths GCSE and also helped a student prepare for their CATs.
