When I am teaching a new chapter, I will clarify the purpose and learning goals so they know what they should have learnt at the end of the class. I will use questions that can stimulate response and invite studentsâ comments on the ideas that I am presenting. I will help students to master the language of Chemistry and trains students to find answers and solutions through exploration.
I come from Malaysia. I am a Master degree graduate from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), which is the only APEX (Accelerated Programme for Excellence) University in Malaysia. I am currently doing my PhD study in Health Sciences at UNBC. It has always been my dream to embark on a PhD program. Without any hesitation, this passion has strengthened my desire to take a further step in pursuing a PhD degree. Hence, after completion of my Bachelor Degree in 2012, I have further pursued my interest and passion for enrolling into Master study in chemistry under the School of Chemical Sciences.
During my undergraduate and MSc studies, I have been exposed to numerous subjects including Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Genetics and Cellular Biochemistry, Separation Methods, Electrochemical Methods, Surface and Thermal Analysis, Molecular Spectroscopy and much more.
I am currently working as a teaching assistant in UNBC for chemistry lab courses and has extensive teaching experience.
