About David

Teaching Spanish is much more than a job for me; it is a passion. As a Spaniard who has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Italy, Russia and Singapore, and travelled extensively across Europe, Latin America and Asia, I understand first-hand both the challenges and the rewards of learning a foreign language.
Living as an expat for most of my professional life has taught me how important language is for building confidence, creating friendships, advancing careers and truly integrating into a new culture. I have experienced this myself while learning and using English, French, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Indonesian and Japanese in both professional and everyday situations.
I am also the father of two children raised in an English-speaking environment, and helping them maintain and develop their Spanish has given me valuable insight into bilingual learning and the specific needs of young learners.
My goal is to help students not only learn Spanish, but also enjoy the process and gain the confidence to use the language naturally in real-life situations. Whether you are a child, teenager, adult or senior learner, I will adapt each lesson to your needs, interests and objectives.
I bring enthusiasm, patience, international experience and a positive energy to every class. Seeing my students progress, communicate confidently and discover the richness of the Spanish language and culture is what motivates me most.

I am a native Spanish speaker with over 25 years of international professional experience in education, communication, marketing, international business, tourism, and institutional relations.

I offer dynamic, engaging, and highly personalised Spanish lessons for children, teenagers, adults, and senior learners. My positive energy, natural communication skills, and ability to build strong rapport with students create a relaxed and motivating learning environment where confidence grows quickly.
