About David

Hello, I'm David from Bromley, southeast London. I hold a master's degree in economics which I completed in September 2024 and I also hold a bachelor's degree in that subject both studied at Kent University in Canterbury. I also have experience in teaching students on a one to one basis. In addition I teach GCSE Maths both foundation and higher level standards in respect of which I also have one to one teaching experience. I'm excited to offer digital tutoring sessions for economics students preparing for their upcoming exams. I'm offering extra support for students looking to pass or receive a higher grade and to challenge their beliefs on their capabilities.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help students master both the theory and application of Economics at GCSE and A-Level, and for GCSE Maths the understanding of fundamental theories and concepts and their application. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for your final exams, I focus on building strong foundations in key topics while also sharpening exam technique. Each session includes: Clear, step-by-step explanations of core concepts (like supply & demand, market structures, macroeconomic objectives, etc.) Real-world examples to make abstract ideas more relatable Guided analysis of graphs, data, and case studies Support with essay planning and evaluation skills Targeted past paper practice with feedback and marking guidance Ongoing progress tracking and confidence-building

David assisted me with GCSE Maths, for which I achieved a top grade. He explained very clearly topics such as Simultaneous and Quadratic Equations, Venn Diagrams, Pie Charts and many more. He was very patient and happy to repeat explanations of any topic in detail as required, and I found him to be friendly, outgoing and communicative.
David helped to make studying Maths an enjoyable and rewarding experience which gave me confidence and a real feeling of a sense of achievement.
