About Charles

Over the past 12 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching Spanish to High School and College students with enthusiasm and commitment. I have successfully taught around 150 students and have enjoyed watching them grow from beginners into confident language learners. Every student's progress inspires me to continue improving my teaching skills.

My teaching philosophy is centered on personalized learning. I believe every learner deserves lessons that match their pace, strengths, and goals. My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, and listening, all presented through simple explanations and engaging activities. I encourage students to participate actively so they become confident using Spanish in real situations.

I regularly use conversations, reading passages, vocabulary exercises, cultural discussions, and revision sessions to reinforce learning. Students receive continuous support and feedback, allowing them to identify areas for improvement while celebrating their achievements.

Helping around 150 students improve academically and gain confidence has been one of my proudest accomplishments. Many have achieved better examination scores and stronger communication skills through consistent effort and personalized instruction.

My aim is to make every lesson enjoyable, meaningful, and productive. I want students to leave each class feeling more confident, motivated, and excited about continuing their Spanish learning journey.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is built around creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability. I believe students learn Spanish best when they actively use the language in meaningful situations instead of only memorizing vocabulary and grammar. My lessons are personalized to match each student's goals, interests, and learning pace.

I use interactive activities such as conversations, storytelling, role plays, pronunciation practice, language games, videos, reading exercises, listening activities, and writing tasks. These methods encourage students to participate confidently while improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills together.

Critical thinking is developed by helping students understand grammar through practical examples, compare sentence structures, and use vocabulary naturally in different situations. Students learn how to communicate independently and solve language challenges with confidence.

As a mentor, I provide patient guidance, motivation, and continuous encouragement. I believe every learner deserves a supportive environment where mistakes become opportunities for improvement. I help students build confidence through regular practice and positive reinforcement.

Accountability is included through structured lesson plans, realistic learning goals, meaningful homework, progress tracking, and personalized feedback after every lesson. Students clearly understand their progress and remain motivated to achieve their language goals.

Besides Spanish, I also teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary building, conversation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, listening activities, beginner Spanish, travel Spanish, DELE preparation, and Hispanic culture. My objective is to help every learner become a confident, fluent, and independent Spanish speaker.
