About Lola

I am an experienced and passionate Flute tutor with over 19 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals, helping them grow musically at their own pace and comfort level.

My tutoring approach is simple, clear, and practical. I focus on building a strong foundation in flute playing by teaching proper breathing, posture, finger placement, tone quality, and rhythm. I believe learning music should be enjoyable, so I create a positive and supportive learning environment for my students.

Along with flute lessons, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, and ear training. These subjects help students understand music better and improve their performance skills. I also guide students in exam preparation, performance techniques, and confidence building.

One of my unique skills is my ability to motivate students and help them stay consistent with practice. I explain concepts in an easy way and use practical exercises to improve skills step by step. I aim to help students not only learn flute but also develop discipline, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology is based on effective communication, creativity, and flexible learning. I believe music education should be clear, enjoyable, and adapted to each student’s learning style.

Communication helps build strong understanding. I explain flute techniques in simple language and use demonstrations to make learning easier. I encourage students to ask questions and share their thoughts. Regular feedback helps students stay aware of their progress and improvement areas.

Creativity makes lessons interesting and enjoyable. I include creative exercises, musical patterns, and enjoyable pieces to keep students motivated. I encourage students to explore tone, expression, and musical storytelling. This helps students develop confidence and personal musical style.

Flexibility allows lessons to suit individual needs. I adjust lesson plans based on student ability, goals, and pace. If a student needs more time, I focus on strengthening basics. If a student progresses quickly, I introduce advanced techniques and challenges.

Flute lessons cover breathing control, posture, finger technique, tone development, scales, articulation, rhythm, and musical expression. I focus on building a strong foundation for long-term growth.

In addition to flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight reading, rhythm practice, ear training, and performance preparation. These subjects support overall musical understanding.
