About Kenyatta
"Instruction is the central focus of my current professional life. My teaching style is methodical and rooted in a deep curiosity for sound.
I hold an MMus Vocal Studies from the Queensland Conservatorium and apply that level of academic rigor to my violin instruction. It keeps me sharp.
Students I work with gain 387 examples of success through our shared history together. I cover left hand agility, spiccato and staccato bowing, shifting positions, vibrato, and scales and arpeggios. My personal history on stage informs every technical correction I provide to you. It is quite simple."

"Music becomes rewarding when the technical barriers finally start to fall away. Lessons are anchored by my 11 years of experience performing and teaching across various platforms. I utilize my MMus Vocal Studies training to break down complex movements into smaller parts. This ensures you understand exactly how to manipulate the bow for the best possible tone.
Technique is the core of our work. We focus on physical mechanics to ensure you can play with ease.
I provide free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to keep you on track. You can expect to see measurable changes in your ability over the next few weeks. These materials will help you practice with intent when you are away from my studio."
