About David
I am a computer science major with a knack and a passion to make concepts clear, things like physics and math should not be hard for any student. I have an Associates in Science degree and currently working on my Bachelors. I've helped countless of peers throughout my academic years. One thing they all have in common? "David, you made so much more sense than the teacher in the classroom." Well, thing is, when you teach a big group of 20+ students, some will get the ideas, most others will not. A professor at school, unfortunately can't tackle every single student's struggles, that's where I come in.

First thing about me is that I believe grades are not extremely important. Yes, it can be argued they are a measure of your understanding of the subject, but nowadays students tend to forget everything right after a test. As a student, I focused more on not wasting my time. Think about this; you're going to school, whether it is because you have to, or because you want to, you're going to school anyway. So, why would you waste your time worrying about your grades and studying for a test and then forgetting all of it the next minute? I believe it is better if you study in a way that you'll actually be able to get excellent grades on that test because you have the knowledge to solve any problems, whether Math or Physics or anything else, and actually remember this knowledge your entire life. The main goal of school is not to get good grades, it is to actually learn. So when you're an adult you don't come to the sad realization one day that you wasted your first 18 years in school and you took away nothing. One last thing, it feels really good to be that guy in the classroom whom your peers come to with the questions! My methodology is quite simple; I like to relate subjects to things that are already interesting to you. For example, if you like video games; did you know that your GPU, or Graphic Card is nothing but a matrix solving device? And a matrix is nothing but another way of representing systems of equations. Math and Physics are actually very easy and fun when you see their applications in the things you like!!
