About Adam

I am a fully qualified, practicing teacher and current Deputy Head of Science with over 10 years of classroom experience. Over the last decade, I have helped hundreds of students navigate the daunting step-up to GCSE and A-Level Physics, transforming confusion into confidence and top grades.
As a senior school leader and exam preparation specialist, I don’t just teach the content—I understand exactly how exam boards think. I know the common pitfalls that cost students marks, how to teach the heavy mathematical demands of modern Physics specifications, and how to build a supportive environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them.
Whether your child is struggling to keep up, suffering from exam anxiety, or aiming for an A^*, my deep understanding of pedagogy allows me to tailor every single concept to their unique learning style.

About the lesson

My lessons are highly structured, dynamic, and results-driven. I don’t believe in passive learning or just reading from textbooks. Every session is designed around active recall, conceptual clarity, and rigorous exam practice.

What I offer:
Summer Launchpad & Bridge Sessions: Ideal for July and August. A targeted 4-to-6 week block designed to erase "summer learning loss," bridge the gap between GCSE and A-Level, and give students a massive head start on their autumn term content.

September Term Coaching: A consistent, weekly slot for the academic year to ensure you/your child never falls behind and stays ahead of the school curriculum.

Exam Technique Mastery: Deep-dives into past papers, data analysis, practical skills questions, and decoding mark schemes so students know exactly what examiners are looking for.

Flexible Delivery: I offer high-quality interactive online sessions or local in-person tuition.

Peace of Mind: I hold a full, enhanced, up-to-date DBS check.
