A Doctor of Medicine holder and a highly experienced instructor and trainer with strong
working skills and a broad range of hands-on expertise, good presentation skills and
professional ethics. Works and communicates well with people from all walks of life, and
all levels of the organisation. Furthermore, an internally-motivated individual with good
learning capabilities and excellent people skills. Is highly adaptable to new environments,
easy going temperament and judgement free attitude. Always set to improve health care
in the community around me as I make significant contributions globally.

My army service:
Course Commander – the “National Squad” Collecting Stations Battalion - Chief Medical
Officer’s Platoon, Medical Corps, IDF

Following a one-year screening process and a year of training, began working as an instructor; promoted to Chief Instructor, supervising others on IDF bases throughout the country.
Later nominated Deputy Commander and finally appointed Training Course Commander
Responsibility for planning and carrying out one-week training courses to reservists, with a wide range of specialisations, preparing them to perform as a team during medical emergencies and under fire. Practical experience in treating casualties.
The role required knowledge in medicine and the ability to communicate it well to civilian and
military medical professionals. Working closely with officers of all ranks (from the Medical Organisation Officer to Division. Commanders and Colonels) and understanding military hierarchy. Performing under time pressure, around the clock.

I always desired to help restore the human body through reconstructive or cosmetic surgery. This is after I witnessed an accident whereby the victim had a disfigured face that really lowered her esteem. I wanted to bring back joy in people’s lives.

Professionally, I have acquired experience in General Surgery at Papa Georgiou General Hospital, shadowing general surgeons, and undertaking duties including scrubbing in and participating in both scheduled and emergency operations; Plastic and reconstructive surgery at St. Luke's Hospital where I assisted in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery operations including diabetic foot reconstruction, nasal reconstruction, SMAS rhytidectomy, mastopexy, and liposuctions; Internal medicine at Wolfson medical centre in addition to engaging in Psychiatric medicine at a Psychiatry Hospital where I assisted in daily and extensive patient consultations.
