About Joao Pedro
I am a Doctor, Monitor of Leisure and Free Time, and have been giving private lessons since 2012. Due to my biography, I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish at native level (including the C2 in English); and French level B1. I am looking to teach online for school support / explanations.

I take classes both in English immersion (limiting Spanish to when the student is very lost), or in Spanish / French / Portuguese. My classes, since science / mathematics subjects are usually based on questions and problems with a specific answer and reasoning, usually follow the following scheme: 1) Review of the syllabus that has been given / scheduled at school, homework and exams. 2) Review with the student (s) the agenda that corresponds to that week of work in the school, trying to verify with examples that the students must solve with me that they have understood the lesson, and resolve doubts / lack of understanding that are detected. 3) Give the student (s) a sheet with representative exercises from the agenda they have worked on, which they must do on their own 1-2 days after class, and send me photos / scan to be corrected by myself (promoting the sense of own responsibility and autonomy that students should be interested in correcting and seeing their failures) (4) As global assessment tests approach, I have students try to do mock exams to adapt to the pressure and improve the student performance; and to better detect knowledge that is looser.
