Hello Everyone,
My name is Mary Stevens, I am from the great state of TX. I am a Doctoral Student majoring in Performance Psychology. I Love People! I love working with kids and everyone needs help one time or another. I believe that it is important to know your learner and know how to give your learner what they need. I construct my lessons according to how I see fit for my learner. I can help students in the areas of reading, writing, health, and english. I I like to make learning and the environment fun an easy to understand for everyone. Learning is more enjoyable when you have a little fun doing it.

I work with kindergarten through 4th graders. The subject of Health and Stress is very important but often not discussed. Knowing how to manage stress is an essential part of life.
Teachers educate the future. As a teacher/ tutor I believe you have to find what works for you. It is important to know what your students needs are and how to deliver those needs to your students. Not all students learn the same. Some people learn and comprehend differently, as a teacher you have to know other ways to teach a lesson. Patience, understanding and caring.
Lessons are organized by subject and grade level. Within each lesson, you will find clear objectives, description of materials needed, a thorough procedure with an opening and a closing, as well as assessments and modifications.
