About João

Having already taught to undergrads in Ireland, as well as creating a course on science outreach for elementary school students (Youth Academy), I always try to present concepts patiently and simplify them as best I can (using analogies, examples and even jokes to make learning fun and effective).

There are no totally wrong questions, we always learn something by asking ;)

About the lesson

As a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a Master in Bioengineering - Molecular Biotechnology I am able to tutor in Natural Sciences (2nd cycle), Natural Sciences (3rd cycle), Biology and Geology (10th and 11th year), Biology (12th year) or Biology, Cellular and Molecular Biology or Biotechnology (College Level)

Patient explainer and able to explain concepts in the way that best suits each student, with teaching experience to higher education students and scientific demonstrations to elementary and secondary education students.
