About Mila
Real musical growth rarely happens inside a dusty old textbook. Instead, I turn your favorite song requests into simplified arrangements that help you understand the mechanics of the instrument immediately.
Since my degree from Berklee College of Music provides a foundation in theory, I explain complex concepts using riffs you already know by heart. Performance-focused students appreciate how we handle fingerpicking, barre chords, and lead guitar without getting bogged down in boring drills. We balance acoustic technique with improvisation so that you actually sound like a musician while you practice.
Watching you finally nail that difficult chord transition is exactly what I aim for in our time together. We will make sure your guitar stays in tune while you work toward your next big performance.

Teaching guitar became the best part of my week after I started out just gigging professionally for 19 years. Helping students is my craft.
Since picking up the instrument at 8 years old, I have spent 10 years guiding kids, teens, and hobbyists through the fretboard. Most of my work involves helping players move past pentatonic jail by using real blues and rock sounds. I have worked with hundreds of students who needed a clear path forward.
Advanced learners often find my approach helpful when they get stuck in a rut. Sometimes I even talk about the time I spent touring the West Coast. I really enjoy a good cup of coffee before we start our practice.
