About Annie

Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the UK in 2016. I'm fluent in both English and German. My musical background ranges from Pop, Hard Rock, to Funk and Folk, which are genres I regularly work in for artists for local recordings and performances, or shows abroad. Experience: - 10 years of working with children and young people aged 5 - 18 in various educational and therapeutic settings. - 5 years of community music project work. - 15 years worth of drumming, performing, coaching, knowledge of pedagogical tools and working my way up the industry ladder. - BA(Hons) in Music Industry Practice and Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music - Training in Community Music Practice - Makaton level 1 - Psychomotor Therapist - Enhanced DBS

About the lesson

Drumming for beginner - intermediate students and for drummers those looking for coaching. Lessons will be built around the student's needs and goals, personalised to enhance motivation and confidence. Want to play along to your favourite songs? I'll show you how! No previous experience in drumming or reading notation required. Michael is a motivated student and quickly picks up new grooves and coordination challenges. He's got a natural feel for timing and mastered his first Green Day groove, fill and first 3rd of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" in the first lesson!

Enzo seems relaxed around the drum kit. He remembers the basics from his experiences a few years ago, holds the sticks ideally, and knows which songs he would like to work with. I'm looking forward to working on some more grooves next time.
