About Kell
I am a 1st Class BMus Drums Popular Music Performance graduate from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, and have been playing drums since I was 12. I have a wide breadth of experience including: private & group tuition, playing festivals, high-profile function gigs, studio recordings, and more. Having taught many students ranging from ages 6-50+, beginner to advanced, both privately and as a tutor at Preston Manor Music Academy, I am confident I can help you achieve your goals on the drums.

My goal as a drum tutor is to provide solid technical foundations, and to help you achieve whatever you want on the instrument. My lessons are tailored to students individually, to make sure you get the most out of our time together.

Kell has been my drum teacher for a while now and I have enjoyed every lesson with him, even the days when I have been frustrated with my performance, he has always made me feel comfortable and he has always encouraged me. He is very professional and such a lovely person. Kell makes drumming fun and that’s how a teacher should be!
I have no hesitation to recommend Kell for anyone whether children, adults ,( a woman in her 30’s like me!) that wants to learn, improve their skills, etc.He is DBS certified. He has been teaching both our boys for over a year and they enjoy lessons with him. He is young and connects well with the kids and makes learning fun. He is also reliable and good at communicating any changes to lessons and is also accommodating in accepting changes when we have requested it. The boys have really come along since learning with Kell and are doing well. We would recommend Kell.
