About Josh
I am a drum kit player, and have had a little over 10 years of experience playing jazz, rock, funk, and latin music with other musicians. I have also been trained as a percussionist in Symphonic and Concert Bands throughout high school and University as well as been part of the "Little Bird Jazz Combo" in Edmonton, AB in 2015-2016.

My main focus is teaching students how to excel in the style of music they want to learn and master. I like to focus on proper technique with stick grip, wrist movement, and volume control. I also want to make sure my students have a good understanding of tempo, as well as continuing to learn complex rhythmic patterns to add flavour to their drum kit playing.
