About Issam

As a busy student, the last thing you need is a tutor who wastes your time (if you haven't already stumbled across one!). That's why I always review a sample of the material you want to cover before accepting a lesson. By doing so, we can make sure we're a good fit and have a smooth, stress-free session that saves both of us time. This approach has helped all my students achieve high marks and helped me receive excellent reviews, as shown in the reviews section. So far, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Lebanese American University and a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from the Lebanese American University and currently wrapping up my second Master's degree being a Master of Science in Applied Financial Economics from HEC Montreal, the business school affiliated with the University of Montreal. Teaching for me is just another hobby of mine, alongside biking, running, swimming, going to the gym, and playing table tennis!

About the lesson

I have over 5 years of experience in private tutoring and hold a certification for tutoring one-on-one classes. Throughout these years I have been exposed to different types of students and managed to develop unique teaching techniques for each.
My goal is to make the material as simple, applied, and enjoyable as possible. Whether we meet in person or remotely, I'll be using my iPad for explanation. At the end of the session, I'll share everything with you, so that you can focus on the material during the session and catch up on any notes that you couldn’t write with me.
As a tutor, I take pleasure in seeing my students reach their goals as their achievements are my own!

Perfect! As a person who hasn't touched mathematics in a while and need to get back into it for computer programming, Issam has been very helpful in explaining at an excellent pace the material that I need but with easy and simple demonstrations and brought on top of that other terms that will be helpful in the future. Comes with a perspective of a person who knows how to save time in finding answers. Clearly knows the material and is good at demonstrating the solutions.

I can now practice what I need until my next tutoring session to tackle my next challenges. Happy studying!

Alexandre has been my student for two consecutive terms studying micro and macroeconomics. He is one of the students whom I enjoy discussing non academic topics with such as current economical and financial news. He was determined to work hard on both courses and finished with great results!

At the outset, I would like to thank Professor Essam for the support he gave me, I did not expect that I would benefit from his experiences greatly, as he had a great impact on my success.
I advise every student who wants complex information in a simple and professional way to study with Mr. Essam.
In short: simple, modest, professional, familiar with the material he teaches and confident in his information.

I've been friends with Issam since 2017 when we met in one of our classes, and nothing caught my attention more than how knowledgeable he is. He has a thirst for knowledge and will never sleep on a question whose answer he does not know. Issam would rather never sleep again than settle on being misinformed. Any student would be lucky to have him as a tutor.
