About Riya

My passion for Economics began with curiosity about human behavior, markets, and global systems. Pursuing a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Development Studies allowed me to combine theory with practical understanding. Over 7 years, I have guided students through economic principles with a patient, structured, and supportive teaching approach, helping them build confidence and analytical skills. I focus on adapting lessons to each learner’s pace, combining examples, case studies, and interactive discussion. Beginners receive foundational guidance, intermediate learners refine analytical abilities, and advanced students tackle scenario evaluation and complex problem-solving. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and active participation. Outside teaching, I engage with research, current economic events, and policy studies, incorporating contemporary examples into lessons. Watching students develop reasoning skills, confidence, and practical understanding is deeply rewarding. My aim is to cultivate a learning environment where Economics becomes approachable, meaningful, and inspiring.

Advanced students analyze behavioral economics, policy evaluation, and critical scenario-based problem solving. Each session encourages thoughtful questioning, active engagement, and conceptual clarity to foster confidence and understanding. Lesson pacing is tailored to student experience.
