About Grace
Disability shaped my own educational experiences. As a disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent student, I felt like I had to fight my way through school. I had a strong desire to learn, yet I constantly had to surpass obstacles to just keep my head above water.
In college, I began to envision a new kind of educational support service— one which would provide comprehensive mentoring and coaching for ambitious students with disabilities to become savvy students, fierce self-advocates, and balanced, poised leaders in their chosen field.
After earning my degree in Human Developmental Sciences, focusing on adolescent development and psychology, I pursued my Master’s Degree in Education at the University of California, San Diego. During my time at the university, I worked with over 200 students in middle school, high school, and university settings. After completing my MEd, I completed post-grad coursework in Educational Therapy through the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I am the founder and sole proprietor of Empowered Learning Management, LLC. Empowered Learning Management provides educational therapy, disability consulting, and college consulting to students with disabilities and their families.

I specialize in teaching executive funcitoning and metacognitive skills that are applicable across academic domains, with a special emphasis on writing instruction. Lessons are availale at my office or online.
I am a proudly disabled and neurodivergent educational therapist and educational consultant, specializing in executive functioning and metacognitive learning interventions for students with disabilities. As an educational therapist, I apply cutting-edge psychological, educational, and developmental research to create highly individualized educational plans for my clients.
I empower students to build awareness of their own thought processes and behaviors, encouraging self-motivated growth alongside self-acceptance. I am a neurodiversity-affirming and neurodivergent educator. I have a personal interest in autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and processing disorders; I also am passionate about supporting students living with chronic illness, chronic pain, or mental health challenges.

Grace was truly a godsend for us. She educated me on how to relate to my neurodivergent child but provided so many resources. I truly feel trusted and valued her opinion. She was truly amazing with my son! She was so engaging and patient as she snuck in tools and skills without him even realizing! He has been doing great this year and I know she had so much to do with it. I cannot recommend her strongly enough and we really miss her.
