About Elesa

I am a CELTA qualified EFL teacher offering general English, pronunciation, public speaking and acting tutoring at all levels. I am an experienced tutor at all levels of ability from beginner to advanced, offering a supportive, structured and individually tailored learning experience. I taught for two years in a language school teaching EFL and have taught Business English, Pronunciation and Public Speaking. I have taught children as well as adults and have a current DBS. In addition to private tutoring I have worked as an after school group leader teaching Creative Writing and Public Speaking for Chelsea Young Writers, most recently at Stormont Prep School in Hertfordshire. I am also a professional actor, with extensive stage, screen and radio credits, making me ideally placed to specialise in pronunciation, accent reduction and public speaking. Utilising my acting training and acting experience I have developed my own 'method' based approach to public speaking coaching which I find very effective and students seem to really like!. I love using my acting skills to help students grow in confidence and ability. I am friendly, patient and dedicated to helping students achieve their goals. Former students have seen tangible results at work and school. Lessons are at a central location, with stunning views! I also offer lessons on Skype. Perfect! My son (9 year old) did his first session with Elesa and was very engaged throughout the session.
