About Emily
With 6+ years of experience in music education, I am a dedicated flute tutor committed to helping students from school to college level achieve their musical goals and grow with confidence. Music has always been my passion, and teaching allows me to share that passion in a meaningful and inspiring way.
Throughout my journey, I have guided many students, helping them improve their technical skills and gain confidence in performance. A key milestone in my career has been preparing students for competitions and stage performances, where they have successfully showcased their abilities.
My teaching approach is clear, practical, and flexible, focusing on essential techniques such as breathing control, posture, tone quality, and finger placement. I also encourage creativity and self-expression so students truly enjoy learning. I believe that music education is not just about learning an instrument but also about developing discipline, focus, and confidence, and my goal is to create a positive and motivating learning environment.

My teaching approach is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I focus on making flute learning easy and enjoyable for every student. I begin by understanding the student’s level and goals so I can plan lessons that suit them.
I motivate students by giving small tasks and appreciating their progress. This helps them stay confident and interested. Communication is very important in my class. I explain breathing, fingering, and sound production in a clear and simple way. I also listen to students carefully and guide them with patience.
With integrity, I make sure students learn step by step with strong basics. Creativity helps me include songs and fun exercises to make learning exciting.
I also teach music theory, rhythm, and listening skills along with flute.
