About Julia
Hello, my name is Julia. I am a recent graduate from McGill University in the B. Ed. Kindergarten/Elementary program. I have been working with children since the age of twelve as a babysitter, daycare worker, day camp counsellor, tutor and now teacher.
Some of my hobbies are reading, cooking, hiking and travelling.

George Evans, an American cartoonist, once said, "Every Student can learn, just not on the same day or the same way." I believe to be a good teacher, we must be willing to be flexible in our teaching styles to include all student learning preferences. I strive to have students be active participants in their learning. I believe students should have the opportunity to create objectives and work with their teacher to reach them.
Having experience as an in-class teacher, I am aware of different learning styles and preferences of students, and am open to change my methods of teaching to benefit the needs of my students.
A typical lesson will be tailored to an elementary student and will incorporate their needs and learning styles.
