About Anabella
I am an enthusiastic and experienced Flute tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience, working with School students, College students, and working professionals in a clear and supportive learning environment. My teaching style is patient, organised, and goal-oriented, with strong focus on breath control, posture alignment, finger technique, tone development, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, ear training, and performance preparation to help students become well-rounded musicians. I also support students with exam preparation, auditions, and stage confidence. My goal is to help students enjoy learning flute, improve steadily, and develop a lifelong passion for music.

My flute teaching methodology emphasises communication, creativity, and flexible learning to support each student’s unique needs and goals. I explain techniques clearly, provide demonstrations, and encourage students to practise actively. Open communication allows students to ask questions, share challenges, and receive ongoing guidance.
Creativity is a key part of my lessons, using warm-ups, rhythm exercises, tone development activities, improvisation, and expressive music practice to make learning enjoyable. Lessons are adjusted according to the student’s level, learning pace, and personal objectives.
Flute lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Alongside flute, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills to build well-rounded and confident musicians.
