About Hazel
With more than 7 years of experience, I am a dedicated Flute tutor teaching School, College, and working professional students. I believe music education should be clear, organised, and enjoyable.
My tutoring style is calm, supportive, and goal-oriented. I guide students through breath control, posture alignment, finger accuracy, tone quality, rhythm control, and musical expression. Lessons are customised to suit each student’s learning pace.
In addition to flute training, I teach music theory, notation reading, sight reading, rhythm exercises, scale practice, ear training, and basic performance skills. I also assist students with exam preparation.
My strength lies in motivating students and helping them stay consistent. I provide clear guidance, personalised practice plans, and regular feedback. My aim is to help students become confident flute players.

My teaching methodology for flute is built on clear communication, creative learning, and flexible lesson planning. I explain flute techniques in simple language and use demonstrations so students can understand and apply them correctly. I encourage open communication and create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely.
Creativity is included through creative warm-ups, rhythm exercises, tone development activities, and expressive music practice. I focus on steady progress, good tone quality, and musical confidence. Lessons are adjusted according to each student’s level, learning pace, and goals.
Flute lessons include breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Along with flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and basic performance skills to support complete musical development.
