About Kizzy
I am highly qualified to tutor both math and reading, because I have a degree in mechanical engineering and a Michigan State endorsed certification in reading. I have also worked in the educational field as an assistant teacher with 5 years or more of tutoring. I also welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.

I tend to use to Socratic or Questioning method for reading and I use applications and drills for math. My lesson plan are standard but tailored for each individual student.
I set ultimate goals the students want to achieve by the end of all tutoring sessions. Have a clear objectives by describing the specific knowledge and ability the student would have acquired after all tutoring sessions. List required materials. Brief introduction to the course plan by letting the student know what they will be learning. Align my lessons with the curriculum. Discuss the session plan that is tailored to the needs of the student. Provide practice sheets or homework that the student can practice on their own. I tend to get to know my students first. This helps find out what they are struggling with in their curriculums and find out what they want to achieve. I can build and objectives to meet those goals. My lessons are for lower and upper elementary (middle school).
