About Hannah
Hi there, I am Hannah from Ghana. I am currently pursuing a master's in Materials Engineering with Arizona State University.
I am passionate about chemistry, physics and mathematics (isn't that all ME students?) I discovered my gift for teaching when my classmates at school would come to me to help them solve questions; over time, they'd let me help their younger siblings. This led me to join a local program to help mates and juniors in my community with homework and exam prep.
I continued after I graduated from middle school and high school and many parents were very thankful for my ability to ignite a desire to learn in their "not-so-ambitious" students. Well, I believe every student has their own ambition they just need to understand how learning pre-calc will get them rich in their 20s! Haha.
My primary school teacher introduced math to me or rather introduced me to math, and I didn't even realize. It was relaxed, playful, casual, but challenging when it had to be, and just like that I would be the top of my class. Being a student myself, I don't want my learners to feel overwhelmed as school can seem to require too much of you. I know what stress from difficult schoolwork is like, but I also know how to calm down and conquer the challenging assignments.
Adding over 6 years of teaching experience, be rest assured I can help you conquer your most daunting school tasks.
Book a trial lesson now! I'll see you in class, Ciao!

Having volunteered to teach for over 6 years now, I feel confident to extend my reach via the internet. For maximum output to the student, the subjects I'm taking on are ones I'm deeply passionate about and which I still use in my current field (Materials Engineering).
• My lessons are relaxed but effective because I use the power of storytelling and every day scenarios to embed concepts into the student's mind. Yes! we can literally have a conversation about how chemical bonding relates to your personal life; after all, don't we all want our friendships to be as tight and equal as covalently bonded molecules? It’s all about the student’s capacity and pace. The first few lessons would allow me to find that out and then based on the course material/syllabus that has to be covered, I break the concepts down to your unique ability. This I have found to be the fastest way to study.
• Mathematical rigor is guaranteed! As a lifelong fan of mathematics, I understand that some students don’t only seek to pass their exams but deepen their knowledge of its principles and maxims. Therefore, having ascertained the student’s firm grasp of their school material, the student and I can delve beyond the required syllabus to entrench in their mind the understanding of the functionality of the various topics, especially their use in Physics, Chemistry and Engineering. High school students who aspire to a Pure Mathematics degree would greatly benefit.
• I know how to prepare understudied students for their respective exams. This has been my special power since I started volunteering. I started as a homework helper, then as a last-minute exam helper; so to avoid a repetition of such avoidable stress, students came back relaxed for full and comprehensive lessons. Whatever your syllabus is, I can take you through. I know the science by heart. I just need to impart that knowledge to you via your own understanding to ace your tests!
•These lessons are mainly intended for middle school, high school students, as well as undergraduate students. Now if you want to fill gaps in your learning on anything Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics as an adult, a master's student (trust me, it happens!), an engineer, a blue-collar person, or someone who's discovered a late passion in these sciences... Well, welcome. I can't wait to have you and see you in class!!

Wow. I'm so excited that Hannah asked me to recommend her.
Omg, I'm in my final year as an undergrad studying Accounting, a million thanks to her. From the latter part of middle school all the way to high school, she literally saved me in all my Mathematics. And Integrated Science, too.
She's the queen of last-minute teaching. She helped me understand the concepts very quickly, it surprised me. She made sure I got no less than a B. She's a little tough about passing exams but it's totally worth it.
There's more... I'm gushing over her at this point.View more recommendations
