Teaching is not just about the students understanding the concepts and course material. During my own time as a student what I realised was that as I studied the concepts in depth and formed my own examples and analogies to understand the material my own knowledge of the subject expanded. This is what I would like to impart to my students in my classroom. I would like to conduct my lessons incorporating strategies that allow students to study the problem and apply them to authentic problems. In addition a traditional one-flow methodology of teaching does not allow the teacher to gauge how well there student is following the material, but by interacting and having a conversation a teacher can quickly understand where a student may be having problems understanding. As a teacher I also encourage constant feedback from my students and I believe this helps me to develop and improve my skills and allow me to conduct richer and superior lessons for my students
