About Maclean
I am an engineering student at Carleton University. I have received A+ grades in all of my math courses that I have completed, and have gotten a 98 in grade 12 advanced placement calculus. I have been a tutor for just over a year, and have also taught in other settings such as swimming and hockey. Overall I'm well versed in both the material, and teaching styles.

I am a very enthusiastic and versatile teacher, and I'm well versed in teaching a variety of learning styles (visual, experience, etc.). A typical lesson would start out with a talk about the goals of the lesson and the topics to cover, then we would do a few practice questions while I teach any difficult topics. At the end of the lesson I like to make a list of goals for when you're back in class. My lessons stand apart because I'm adaptable, and very patient; the sessions are a judgement free zone!
