About Brady
I just recently graduated high school and am off to college this fall where I will be studying mechanical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. Throughout high school, I successfully managed an AP level course load with many extracurriculars, such as the track and cross country teams, the Student Executive Board, and the Math, Science, and National Honors Societies. I graduated within the top 2% of my class and was selected as a National Merit Finalist Scholarship Award winner. I am also an Eagle Scout, and I still have a deep love for the outdoors- I often am fishing, camping, and biking with friends. Finally, running is a big part of my life as well, and I will competing on the track and cross country teams at Johns Hopkins. I am very easy going and easy to talk to, so feel free to reach out!

My approach as a tutor is very flexible - I like to construct my lesson plans and communication style around what would work best for the student. Typically, a lesson would start with identifying the problem or misunderstanding that the student has, always the most important part of the session. Next, the student and I will work together on similar problems to develop confidence and familiarity with the subject. Finally, the student will try problems on their own to fully master their new skills. I am a great communicator and very easy going- my goal is to make sure that the student is heard and engaged the entire time. I am already familiar with tutoring high school students, but can also tutor middle school students as well. The subject I am best at tutoring would be math, since I am very familiar with the high school math curriculum - I think something that would set me apart from other tutors is that because I just recently graduated high school, I am very in touch with how high school math classes are structured and I would be very good at using this information to the student's advantage.
