About Ola
I am a college engineering student with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring beginners in STEM, especially coding. I understand that learning to code for the first time can feel intimidating, so I focus on creating a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My intro to coding lessons focus on helping students understand how code actually thinks, not just memorizing syntax. I break concepts down into simple, visual steps and use real examples so students can see how small instructions create meaningful results. A typical lesson starts with an idea or problem, walks through the logic behind a solution, and then builds the code together step by step. These lessons are designed for beginners with little to no prior experience, including middle and high school students who are curious about computer science or want to build confidence before taking more advanced classes. My goal is to make coding feel approachable, empowering, and even fun.
