About Sabah
Hi, I'm Sabah! I have studied Sociology extensively, graduating with a 2:1 from the University of Leeds and receiving an A at A-level. Sociology is by far my favourite subject, so much so that I study and research it independently!
I have tutored Sociology for 2 years during my A-levels and, after a brief hiatus to study at university level, have restarted my tutoring. I have an extensive range of knowledge on Sociological curriculums, especially that used at A-level, and can offer insightful and accurate advice to help you achieve your target grades as I have navigated the pressure and stress of these curriculums myself.
I am also non-discriminatory and have experience teaching with students of ranging abilities and needs; this includes students with ADHD and autism. I can change and tailor my teaching style to improve the learning experience and my students’ grades.
I have also used the skills garnered by my study of Sociology to start Societies at University and have been invited to external University Societies to make speeches on topics related to Sociological activism. Sociology plays a pivotal part of my life and I know my passion translates well to students as they too gain an insight into the power and usefulness of Sociology both in and outside the classroom.
My availability differs weekly as I also work part-time for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, but I am an effective communicator and can work flexibly to ensure that my students succeed. I am also available for tutoring on bank holidays.
I enjoy inspiring and sparking joy in my students as Sociology - when studied right - is the best subject to both study and teach. My extensive high-level qualifications from a Russell Group University and my genuine passion both make me an excellent tutor.
