About Leandra

Undergraduate Degree- Honours English and Philosophy U of T -Masters of Teaching student (Ongoing) TESL CERTIFIED Almost 4 years Public School English Teacher-South Korea 한국 Main goal: ENGLISH BOOK CLUB~! *English conversation, reading, writing, current events study, grammar, debate, essays, TOEIC, etc. I love learning about others. My goal with tutoring is to create a mutual teaching relationship. I want to learn about new people and new languages. I've always had the best language experiences through reading narrative, fiction, and non-fiction resources. Most importantly, the resources should be what you want! Choose a book. Choose a topic! Let's study together. I lived and taught in Korea for 4 years. I spent a year as a co-teaching assistant and the remaining time teaching nearly independently in the classroom. I taught at QUEST ESL ACADEMY (Yonge/College) this previous summer. U OF T- OISE - 3/5 of the Masters of Teaching Program (On pause). Relevant courses: OISE- ESL and Special Education, English Teaching, and Media Technology Courses I plan to complete TEFL this winter.

About the lesson

The most important part of life is communication. I aim to increase reading and listening comprehension and provide exciting, challenging, and interesting opportunities for written and spoken expression. Teach me something that you like. I will help you understand it in English. I will help you express it in English. You will increase your English ability and make more friends and have more English-speaking experiences in and out of Toronto!
