About Iris
My love for English began with storytelling—the way words can shape thought, emotion, and imagination. Over the past ten years, I’ve transformed that passion into a teaching practice that empowers students to find meaning in language and confidence in expression. English, to me, is more than grammar and literature—it’s a key to understanding oneself and others. My teaching style combines warmth, structure, and adaptability. I tailor each lesson to individual needs, ensuring a balance between technical accuracy and creative flow. I encourage students to think critically, write authentically, and speak with conviction. Lessons are interactive and dynamic, rooted in discussion, curiosity, and reflection. My goal is to make every learner feel inspired and capable of growth. Outside the classroom, I write, attend literature seminars, and explore modern communication trends to keep my methods relevant. Teaching English is a lifelong dialogue with culture, thought, and humanity. My teaching blends grammar, vocabulary, and composition with creative engagement—through literature, media, and discussion. Lessons are not simply about learning rules, but about learning to think, communicate, and express with precision and heart.
Beginners focus on sentence structure, grammar foundations, and practical vocabulary. Intermediate learners refine reading comprehension, writing organization, and oral fluency, while advanced students engage with persuasive essays, literary analysis, and public speaking. Assignments include creative writing, listening comprehension, and interpretive reading designed to make learning both rigorous and enjoyable. I integrate real-world materials—news articles, short stories, and contemporary topics—to enhance connection and relevance.
