About Charles

I come from South Africa and I'm 25 years old. My parents were from the UK, so I guess you can say I'm a child of two cultures.

I'm a gamer, a huge nerd and enjoy digging in computers - I love technical, hands-on work, and I spend hours on upgrading my setup.

I'm also passionate about history, the navy, and aircraft, so if you are training to become a flight assistant or a pilot, and need some useful vocabulary for that - I'm also the guy you're looking for.

I can teach you a lot about English and South African culture. I'm always happy to share that - I believe that learning about culture connects people.

I love animals - dogs, cats, fish, birds - I worked at an organization devoted to saving animals for nine years before coming to Poland.

I'm also a certified lifeguard.

About the lesson

I teach English using a variety of methods, tailored to your needs.

We will work with:
-Ted Ed,
-Wordwall,
-Quizlet,
-Pronounce,
-various language websites,
-my own knowledge ;-)
-your materials (if you have any)

I'm more than happy to have conversational classes with you, or simply focus on grammar.
We can work on that assignment your boss gave you at work too!

I am an IT guy, so teaching you IT vocabulary and terminology is not a problem for me. Keep in mind that I am not a software developer though!

Being an IT guy doesn't stop me from loving teaching - I have two years of experience and satisfied students! :-)

Due to the fact that I can't say much more than "Hello, my name is Charles." in Polish, I prefer to teach teens and adults at levels C1-C2 to avoid miscommunication. I hope you treat it as a challenge for yourself though - no speaking Polish with me!

You will take a placement test during our first class to determine your English level. It's nothing to worry about, really - just some feedback to help you get the best results possible, no need to study for that!

Classes last 45 or 90 minutes, according to your preference.

First class is free and lasts 45 minutes so we can discuss our work plan and get to know each other.

Chrlie jest bardzo cierpliwym i wyrozumiałym nauczycielem ,dzięki czemu nauka jest łatwa i przyjemna. Posiada ogromną wiedzę ,którą dodatkowo potrafi w doskonały i prosty sposób przekazać co wcale nie jest łatwe. Dodatkowo jest też bardzo sympatycznym i życzliwym człowiekiem przez co będziecie uczestniczyć w zajęciach z przyjemnością.
