About David
Hi, I'm David. I'm a native speaker from Perth, Australia. I've spent ten years living in Europe, teaching English and getting to know different cultures. I enjoy chatting with students, and like to keep a fun atmosphere as we progress through classes. As for my personal interests, I like music, sport, travel, arts, history, cuisine, and a few other things. I like to get to know new people, and am always interested in hearing about people's stories and backgrounds.

I'm TEFL Certified and have completed a degree in Commerce (Business). I teach general and business English as a Second Language from beginner level to advanced and also have helped students with exam preparation for exams such as SAT, IELTS and GMAT.
For me, the main areas of focus in English classes are developing speaking fluency and confidence, technical progression through grammar and vocabulary building, and making sure the materials and classes are engaging and relevant for the student, to enable the best learning environment.
My approach to teaching is to provide an enjoyable, friendly and professional atmosphere to best help with your progression towards your language goals. I can provide a variety of materials best suited to your level and requirements.
Classes are usually one hour long, are suitable for non-native English speakers or students preparing for exams, usually adults or high school age.
* Note: I don't tutor for general high school English classes.*
