About Sinead
I am a newly qualified teacher and I am currently teaching English for my second mainstream school in London. I teach from Year 7 to Year 11, with hopes to teach A Level English in the near future. The pandemic has created a massive gap in children's learning. This has been made apparent in the classroom environment and students entering secondary school are struggling with the material and resources. Therefore, I would like to offer my services to enable students to reach their potential and beyond.

I am currently an English teacher at an Outstanding school based in the London Borough of Kingston. In my teaching career, I have worked in comprehensive schools with students of all abilities. I also worked as a tutor at Prime Tuition in Brixton and with Just Learn Independent School in Mitcham between September 2021 to September 2022. I have helped students from Year 3 to Year 11 to pass their SATs, 11 Plus exams and achieve a Grade 9 for GCSE English in both Language and Literature. My lessons can range between 1-2 hours in length but I am happy to accommodate for your child's needs.
