About Jennifer
As a bilingual (English/French) writer, instructor, editor, translator and communications coach, I have spent over 20 years helping professionals and academics produce clear, informative emails, reports, proposals, presentations and grant applications.
Having a background in English as a Second Language instruction, I can coach non-native speakers through workplace communication challenges while my training as an ADHD coach informs my understanding of executive function, perfectionism, overwhelm and procrastination.
This makes me a hybrid tutor and coach who understands the roadblocks that discourage many professionals and students.

Why I'm Here
My goal is to help you experience the power of expressing your ideas in your own words.
My Experience
I have worked with professionals and students of all ages for more than 20 years as an ESL and business writing instructor. I know how to break down grammar, vocabulary, style and structure in practical terms.
As a certified ADHD coach, I am also trained to recognize and help troubleshoot challenges that come with executive function issues, procrastination and overwhelm.
What I Teach
- Writing grant applications and reports
- Workplace communication skills: emails, reports, proposals
- Essay writing for high school, college and university students
In our sessions, I can:
- show you how to break down and understand the grammatical issues you may have been patching with AI;
- help you work through the roadblocks that keep you from starting or finishing a piece of writing;
- teach you to work with your mind rather than against it.
My Teaching Method
The goal of each session is to build practical knowledge and strategies that meet you where you are. To help you develop clarity and confidence, we can combine instruction, practice and feedback as necessary.
In other words, we will identify what is getting in your way, and I will provide the instruction and support you need to move forward—whether that means working on English-language proficiency or matters of organization, perfectionism and procrastination.
