To facilitate students' learning, before starting each class, I always remind
myself of the distinctions among learners and I try to provide the opportunities for all to learn the way suits them, which has formed my philosophy of teaching. I always try, as my motto, to engage students in what I am teaching by making it useful, entertaining, and related to their real life experiences. Leaving the class with a smile of satisfaction is the assurance I am seeking from my students. I was quite successful in engaging learners in their first or second classes taught by me; however, it was an arduous task to keep them fascinated in the long run. Therefore, I have altered the way I was teaching by equipping the students to find out on their own. Alvin Toffler (2014) states “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn."
I've earned my Master's in TESOL and have been engaged in the field since 2006. I have a solid background in teaching at university and language schools. I possess more than 9 years of experience in the field and I had students in different levels and from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
