About Brian
As a former college English Instructor, I know what students need to improve their writing so that it meet the A-grade with each final draft. As a writer myself, and outside of my work as an English tutor, I professionally compose and edit eBooks, manuscripts, web content, book cover designs, and screenplays (or TV Pilots) via 1-on-1 reading-analysis of your writing project--even if you're in the early stages, and only have an outline, an essay prompt, or concept of some kind to start with.

My lessons entail reading analysis exercises, free-writing prompts, drafting and brainstorming, and line-by-line reading of your work. I take a unique approach to my tutoring and teaching style, which involves taking a 'workshop-approach' to help my clients improve their writing in a personable and detailed way. My lessons are scaffolded to ensure proper management of your time in tutoring sessions, so that you may get the most possible out of each talk. I screen-share to show editing and mark-up during tutorials so that we can have an ongoing discussion about your writing from sentence to sentence. My lessons also involve using 2022-updated style guides for MLA, APA, and CMS. My tutorials focus on grammar and content alike. I work in any and all genres, including creative and Screen/TV Writing.
