About Katy
I am a qualified chemistry teacher with a First Class Master’s degree in chemistry and a PGCE. I teach full time at a Sixth Form college and thoroughly enjoy my job. It is my passion to help people to learn and deepen their understanding, whilst making science engaging.

I am a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher, teaching A level chemistry at a large sixth form college. Alongside my teaching, I offer private tuition aimed at supporting students to achieve their potential and succeed in exams. I have extensive experience of teaching GCSE chemistry too. I will tailor-make your lessons and plan them carefully to address the content and skills you need to develop. We will focus on exam skills and preparation so you can approach exams with confidence. I have full working knowledge of the AQA and OCR specifications and lots of marking experience.
